Valor Construction is commercial construction company with self-performance capabilities. We work directly with owners, architects and clients to monitor progress efficiently, implement proven management processes and use established USACE/NAVFAC quality control systems to keep projects on schedule and completed per expectations.

VALOR offers over 50 years of combined experience overseeing projects for government and commercial clients including; The Dept. of Veterans Affairs, Executive Office of the President of the United States, General Services Administration, NAVFAC, Smithsonian, Dept. of Interiors, MDANG, Arch Diocese of MD, etc. Our previous work experience is diverse with project sizes ranging from $50K to $3M. Our team members are capable of managing multiple projects and task orders simultaneously, specializing in Tenant Fit Out, ADA Compliant Bathrooms, Roofing, Windows, Siding and Doors, Mold and Asbestos removal, Flooring, Historic Renovation etc. Our Team Members have successfully completed numerous projects and task orders by providing excellent customer service, attention to detail, and commitment to the partnering concept.

Dept. of Veterans Affairs:

Multiple projects completed satisfactorily including but not limited to…

  • VAMC Puerto Rico: Provided suicide prevention devices including Room Pressure Monitors and Overhead Door Alarms.
  • HH McGuire VAMC, Richmond, Virginia: Design build for 38 restrooms and locker rooms.
  • VISN 8 BPA: Ongoing thru March 2023, this BPA includes services for Mold and Asbestos removal/mitigation.

Dept. of Interiors National Park Service:

Multiple projects completed satisfactorily including but not limited to…

  • Valor completed historically accurate roof replacement on 5 civil war era buildings at Historic Site Bull Run Battlefield in Manassas, VA. Period correct rough sawn shake roofing systems were installed onStone House, Brawner House, Thornberry House, Dogan House and Henry House. (Note: there are updated pics of stone house on the bull run battlefield website)
  • Valor completed historically accurate roof replacement on the Clara Barton House at Clara Barton National Historic Site in Glen Echo, MD. Period correct copper standing seam metal roofing system was installed and painted to accurately represent the look of the building from more than 100 years ago.

Smithsonian Environmental Research Center (SERC):

Multiple projects completed satisfactorily including but not limited to..

  • Window, siding and door replacement on the main Administrative Building
  • Roofing, siding and window replacement on Schmidt building
